Art of Aqua – Lotus Pods

These lotus seedpods are the by-product of human food production in India (almost every part of this plant is considered edible!) and are simply collected, cleaned, and air-dried, free from chemicals or preservatives. Lotus Pods provide a great hiding place for small shrimplets and can lower the pH of soft water while imparting a nice brownish tint.

Recommended Usage

We recommend a starting quantity of a single large pod or 3 small pods for every 60 liters of aquarium water, although there is no hard and fast rule about this.

Small Pods have 4 pods per bag (3-6cm)

Large Pods have 2 pods per bag (9-11cm)
