T-Husks are the seed pods from Turkey Oak (Quercus cerris)

The shrimp will graze on the biofilm that will accumulate on the husk or eat the husk itself as it breaks down.

It will release a small amount of tannins which contain antibacterial and antifungal properties.  These tannins also facilitate moulting of shrimps.

How to use:

– Cover with boiling water and soak till waterlogged. Rinse before adding to your tank.

– Start with a couple of pieces and then gradually add more.
